Ahh, The Beautiful People

We spent the weekend up in Rexburg, Idaho and had an amazing time (hard to comprehend, I know). The purpose of the trip was the wedding of one of our friends' son. The other purpose was seeing and reconnecting with old friends. We had a few hours between the temple sealing and the luncheon so we took advantage of it and spent the afternoon getting caught up on everything. It was great. So lame that I didn't have my camera to take any wonderful pictures of the reunion! It was the best eight hours I have ever spent in Rexburg.

Not us, but beautiful people nonetheless, and we did have that much fun! (I get to be the young, gorgeous blond and my hubby, Kent, gets to be the young, good looking, obviously funny guy with the full head of hair.)

  1. I love days like that! It seems like whenever Mark and I go to weddings, we reconnect with old friends and have the best time ever... I'm glad you had such a fun time!

  3. LOL...I love the picture. Uncle Kent looks fabulous with hair. :) So glad you got to go to Idaho and reconnect with friends. I didn't get to go to the family reunion. My mom could have planned it for the week before knowing I was going to be in Utah, but she didn't..how rude huh!? :) So I will be back in Utah the 27th, 28th and 29th of June. I'm in Colorado right now watching Tiffany's kids while she's in Jamaica. If you are availale at all the 28th or 29th of June it would be gret to see you. If not no worries it's a short trip and such short notice. We love and miss you guys. I am so glad you blog. I have been trying to get my mom to start a blog but shes so old fashioned and doesn't do anything technical.

  5. This is great, Caroline. I am so glad you got a chance to see everyone that went to the wedding. Didn't Ashley look so 40's. I loved her hair and pretty retro dress. She reminds us so much of Chris' wife, Melissa.

Alden seemed so happy, it was fun doing the mantel at Timme's for their pre-ception.

Have a great day. I really need to order some soap soon. I am waiting to see what our new paycheck looks like after Jim retires!

    Hugs to ya,

    Bon

  6. Caroline - It was great to catch up and actually see you in person. It is amazing how time goes by so fast - It was weird to me that you didn't know Cory and Kristen Edwards - they were in our ward for so long - that means you've been gone for ages! Glad we all met up - only wish we could have stayed longer (apparently my daughter found keeping her 1 yr old, 2 yr old, and 2 bored teenagers a little high maintenance - we got the SOS call.) It was great seeing you. We just need to not wait so long for the next time.

    Love ya,
